Hi, Iām kelly!
I'm so happy that you are here!
This season of raising young children is chaotic and messy, but it is strung together with so many moments of pure joy and unconditional love. I grew up with a camera in hand, but it was becoming a mother myself that solidified my dream of becoming a photographer. Now, as a family photographer in Raleigh, North Carolina, I specialize in family, newborn, and maternity photographyāwhich means I make all-too-fleeting time stand still in photos youāll be able to look back on for years to come!
I believe being a mother is the greatest gift, that capturing mothers in beautiful photos alongside their children is important, and that any home makes a perfect backdrop for a familyās photos because of the life that takes place within its walls.

My family: My husband, Tim, our toddler twin boys, and our baby girl
My coffee order: Venti brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso (or a local coffee shopās specialty!)
Always in my diaper bag: Snacks on snacks on snacks with back-up clothes
On my nightstand: My Bible, my journal, a Stanley cup of water, a framed family photo

My why
Looking back on my own childhood, there are so many things I donāt remember. Thankfully, my dad was an avid photographer who always encouraged my passion for this art form. We photographed everything we saw! I hold tightly to the photos I have, whether taken by him or that I took myself, but I wish there were more pictures of me with my parents. Along with capturing your childrenās adorable features and personalities, I am passionate about getting you, mama, in front of the camera with them. After all, those are the photos that your babies will cherish most when they grow up and look back on their own childhoodsāthe ones with your arms around them, your smiles at them, your kisses on the tops of their heads.
