In the constant flurry of work, meals, errands, chores, appointments, and so much more, there are moments that we, as mothers, wish we could freeze forever. The way you guide little hands as you measure the ingredients for your favorite muffin recipe. Your childā€™s rumpled bedhead as they snuggle up next to you on a slow Saturday morning. Their shrieks of joy as they chase bubbles across the lawn.

I know youā€™ll always cherish these memories, mama. But, as a Raleigh & Durham family photographer, I make sure youā€™ll always be able to recall every precious detail.

Types of Durham Family Photography Sessions

In-home

As a family, there is no place more special than your own home. Everyday moments and genuine interactions naturally unfold in front of my lens as I photograph your family in the place where you feel most at ease (plus, easiest access to snacks for hungry toddlers!).

Outdoor

In the soft light of the sunrise or sunset, I create timeless images of your family set against the beauty of the outdoors. The fresh air and the tickle of the grass on tiny toes never fail to inspire giggles and play!

The experience

The KBP experience

With an artistā€™s eye and a mamaā€™s heart, I artfully capture the precious moments and details that make your familyā€™s current season of life magical, even (read: especially!) amidst the chaos.

An in-home Durham family photography session allows me to step inside your daily lives and capture the beauty it holds. During this time, I love photographing a special family activity that you all enjoy together, like baking, building forts or weekend morning snuggles .

Outdoor sessions give me the chance to capture your family in beautiful light, with all of your kids running around. Both types of sessions I offer result in timeless photos that you will cherish for generations to come.
